Do you have a cat? While you  certainly know many things about the furry catlike, they bet there's some fantastically fun facts you do not know.

one. Individuality
Like human fingerprints, felines have their own built-in matchless tag of telling them apart their nose! The nose pads of felines are all uniquely ridged, meaning no are the same.

two. Warm or Chilled?
Food that is. Felines do not like their food hot or chilled. They like it right. And for them, right is room temperature, like their prey would be in the wild. Felines are indeed the Goldilocks of the animal world

three. Kid Machines
Unless you require a clowder of felines cluttering your home, spay, and neuter your furry catlike. pair of felines and their kittens can produce 420,000 (!) offspring in a mere seven years.


four. Ambidexer-Cat?
You  certainly never thought about a cat as being either left- or right-pawed, but over 40 percent are either lefties or righties. That means there is a few out there who are ambidextrous. Fortunately for them, they can probably operate the can opener with both paws

five. In Living Color
Felines see in color, so your new paisley frock in orange, purple, and yellow won't be lost on them. They also have fantastic night vision, and only need one-sixth of the light humans need to see. So do not go getting your cat night-vision goggles.

six. Lofty Beginnings
Ever wonder who invented the cat door? It was Sir Isaac Newton. Perhaps he was vexed by his cat wanting in & out on a regular basis & disturbing his work, so he did something about its much to the relief of cat lovers in all places.

All of us know the meow sound, whether it is questioning, terrified, happy, or imperiously demanding dinner. Curiously, felines only meow at people, not at other felines.

eight. It is All in the Fall
Felines do land on their feet. In fact, all of them fall in the same way. First they rotate their head, then twist their backbone around, followed by a rear leg alignment & at last they relax in to it & arch the back, thus diminishing impact. But , do not experiment with this at home. Take our word for it.

nine. Four-Legged Mood Rings
Felines are highly intuitive creatures, & they are over able to pick up your mood, from your tone of voice. They know when you are yelling at them (though they often do not appear to care). In the event you need your cat to settle down, try speaking to her in a soothing, loving voice. You will be amazed.

A group of kittens is called a kindle (yes, like that fancy new electronic book tool available now), while a group of adult felines is called aclowder
